I must say, I do agree to a certain extent with Clark. Nigel does deserve to die. But other Clark was right in saving him. There's a difference between revenge and justice (Batman taught me that :p). Of course, I could go a step further in Batman lore and say one does not have to save....
Anyway!! Glad the other Clark pulled it off!
