It doesn’t surprise me that a few photographers, likely from the tabloids of the city, had tried to gain access. They had been ready and waiting outside as I fled my wedding with my mother.
This is such a great set-up detail for what we see later in the episode!
I now have the weight of impending death staring me in the face and this time there will be no saving me.
This is part of my this story is so addicting, because there's this amazing, insane balance - we always expect Lois and Clark to be able to beat anything together. And here, to do that, we have to remove Lois to save Clark (and Lois). It's such a tense line!
