I agree with all the comments, and I really love how Lois was able to talk Clark out of his "brilliant idea" to break up with her by showing him that people use him to get to her also. It's such a great point. How many crooks are after Lois for putting them in jail and Superman has nothing to do with it? He's just an inconvenience they have to plan for because of his penchant for being there when she's in trouble. Lois is often having to admit or hear in the show that she's self-centered, but Clark's decision making on things like this are not a whole lot better - always busy making people's decisions for them rather than letting them make their own choices, even if it means "putting themselves in danger" to be with him. Such a good remedy. Looking forward to discovering the author! I have a guess but I'm so close to the wire on this I think I'll just wait and see!
