So I read this at 1:30am, while up with the baby, and my sleepy brain did not register at first that this was part of the Challenged series. I was reading through trying to figure out what was going on like - okay is Clark really old and not supposed to be heroing anymore and all these other heros are his kids or grandkids? It wasn't until Bruce was mentioned by name that my brain finally connected the dots and said - oh right! This is THAT series. Then it all made sense.
Anyway, yeah this was pretty angsty. Poor Clark. He wants to help but he can't keep his head straight. Lois is gonna be mad that someone didn't cart him out of there right away. Also, did people see him heroing as Clark-sans-glasses? He didn't have his suit right? Curious to see the aftermath of this one.
