I don't know if I've said this before. But one thing I love about this story, and it shows particularly in this chapter, is your portrayal of New Krypton and it's effect on Clark.
All his life he felt like a stranger in this world because of his powers, the physical differences caused by the yellow sun, while in up-bringing, emotional stuff, he was just like anyone else. Now, with the red sun, he's physically like everyone else, but still an alien because of where he was raised. It seems like Clark can't really belong anywhere. And it seems like the cultural differences are a stronger obstacle than his powers.
