I loved your story. I appreciate that Lois was looking at Lex's charitable givings in a new light. Lois would definitely think over Lex's proposal and agonize over it and obsess over it.
On Superman's side, this sounds like a great day for him. I can see him interrupting a birthday party....land, knock on the door, Surprise!!, adults giving the kid's parents a wink and a nod over being clever enough to hire a Superman impersonator...until Superman does something super and their jaws drop. Meanwhile little Lindsey or Ricky is absolutely beside himself and clueless about the adult reactions.
And the rest is as good. I love it.
