With the way she looks at me now, grips my hand a little tighter, her statement is loaded.

Poor Clark, lol. Nice job capturing Lana's predatory nature with just a few thoughts from Clark!
I wish I could ask Dad for advice.
Aww.

Sam Lane doesn’t seem like a good choice.
OMG, no. What a great juxtaposition here!
She's getting things wrong.
The patented Lana Lang Dating Technique.
She drops her bag that gives a thud so heavy I can't help but think she's planning on moving in with me.
This comparison between Lois and Lana is somehow hilarious with the age difference. I feel like Lois can get away with murder now in this scenario.
Gosh, it's so reassuring to just have someone take you seriously at this young age. He just immediately accepts that it's got to be too much for her if she's here, and then reacts appropriately. It's really great the way you're writing him to put Lois on his level in all the right ways.
“Who is this, Clark?” Lana comes around the corner, frowning.
That frown is enough, lol.
How do I explain Lois to her?
And about to turn us into something more.
Yikes. Poor Clark - I feel like he's in so far over his head with Lana.
Lois flinches and I pull her into an embrace.
Absolutely right. Good for Clark!
I have a feeling I'm going to regret this.

Am I really about to discuss my relationship with a twelve year old girl?

YES!
“Well, she's clearly jealous of me. And she's mean.”
Well, Lois isn't wrong about that.
OMG, the Tinkerbell comparison and Clark's reaction absolutely slayed me. This is so apt and SO funny. I know it's the chapter title and I somehow didn't see it coming.
“Next time you need me, give me a call.”
Aw. I'm sad she didn't already have this. But it's a nice moment in the story.
Looking forward to the next one! I'm really fascinated to see how this one day wraps up.
