Hi Mary,
Your story got picked for the
February Scanvenger HuntFor the long FDK, please see earlier post

Unique stuff:
Clark climbed between the giant tusks, carefully stepping over the one curled over the ground and ducking his head under the other. “Lois is having a...problem. A...” He glanced at the men industriously chipping at the fleshy carcass and lowered his voice, leaning close to her ear. “A woman problem?”
This is a subject rarely discussed and definitely unique in this year’s crop of stories.
Silence stretched between them. Clark brought one of the other poles out and laid it against the tripod. Satisfied that the structure held it up, he went back for another.
“Are you building a tipi?” Lois sounded confused.
He smiled. “A lavvu, actually.” He dragged another pole out and leaned it up. “Trust me, you wouldn't want me to make you a tipi: the only time I ever tried was back in fourth grade, and it fell apart in five minutes.”
Clark building shelter for Lois is also both very sweet and considerate as well as unique.
Next to him on the blanket, Jimmy leaned back, propping himself up with one arm and patting his stomach. “Wow. I can't believe I just ate a woolly mammoth!”
I think we only get Jimmy eating prehistoric elephant in this story of the Tundra series.
