You know, you really spoil us with those long parts. Did you get swapped out, too?
I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I used to write on my smart phone, which had a much smaller screen, so the fics felt longer. Now I'm back to writing on my laptop, and there's more space to fill plus a longer scrollbar. That might not be the only factor, but I do think it's a big one.
