I like the tone of this one. I think I remember one other fic where Clark doesn't heal after being blinded and he was severely depressed. This Clark seems to have settled into his new reality. He's still a reporter, even if he can no longer be Superman. And apparently his work is still worthy of a Kerth award.

That was the part of the other one that made it hard for me to write. When I started it, I was severely depressed so it was easy for me to tap into that; however, once I got help and wasn't in 'that place' anymore, I was stuck on where to go with the story. Not to mention that I was afraid to allow myself to go back to 'that place' for the sake of finishing a story. I'm hoping my time away from it will allow me to continue working on (improving) it. I didn't realize how much I had grown in my writing until I went back and read that story. It was
definitely narration heavy and didn't
show nearly as many things as it should have. Thanks for giving this story a shot. I truly appreciate it!
