Lois is a bitch. She is also a bona fide attention whore(Can't think of a better word.)

She gets extatic simply cleaning her Kerth awards. She goes ballistic the moment everyone isn't applauding her. She can't stand to lose, she can't stand to wait, she can't be bothered to show basic courtesey if there is something in it for her. When she isn't seen as successful enough she makes things up. When someone else get kudos for something good she puts them down. When someone isn't forthcoming enough she goes into automatic snark mode.

Really, is Lois Lane the kind of friend you would like to have?

To me her vices is what makes her interesting to read about.
And I think it is whats attracts Clark too, because he sees early on that her abrasiveness stems from a deep insecurity not malice.

I think it's a nice touch in the series that Lois gradually mellows in Clark's company. She finds her security in his love.

Caroline, I think I see what you are doing, but how are you going to explain that Clark won't recognize Lois? This is a guy who can follow a fragrance throughout a city, you would think he would detect the smell of a woman he made love to the day before when she is standing next to him. If not her heartbeat.

I do know you, and I know you wouldn't lie... at least to me...most of the time...
