Two things jump out at me on first read-through.

1. The Superman "experiment" was proposed to him. Who proposed it? Why did he agree? What agreement does he have with the person or persons who did the proposing?

2. HE OFFERED HER MONEY TO GO AWAY AND LEAVE HIM ALONE! Gaaaah! I understand why he did it, because it's likely that others have come up with those kinds of claims before, but I don't think he could have done anything any stupider! He treated Lois like a con artist or an extortionist. He gave her no respect. He had her investigated! And I wonder how long it's going to take Lisa to smash through those doors (and his self-pity and self-centeredness) and let him know that HE'S NOT INFERTILE AFTER ALL!

If the object of the exercise is to put Clark and Lois together, Shayne, you've got Clark going full super-speed in the wrong direction. He's so full of himself! I'd love to Nor-slap some sense into him, but I doubt he'd listen at this point. Lois is going to have her hands full.

But now I strongly suspect that there are wheels within wheels in this story. And I'm almost hopping in my chair with extreme eagerness, awaiting the next chapter.

Life isn't a support system for writing. It's the other way around.
