If it's Jonathan... I have no clue what impact it might have on Lois and Clark's relationship. All Clark Kents love to internalise their emotions and so in addition to the depression and tremendous sadness, whatever progress they've made might be for nothing... or Clark might lean toward implementing what Jonathan hinted at in their last big conv... hmmm
