I think Lois and Clark went about this in the totally wrong way. As a parent, you never want to dis your child's boyfriend/girlfriend. That only makes them dig in their heels. They feel that the parents don't respect their judgement, and that the parents are treating them like immature kids.

Far better to react with silence, or to damn with faint praise.

I can understand Clark and Lois' immediate explosion but look at where it's left Kiley. Now she feels she has to choose between her family and her boyfriend, who has already proven himself to be hot-tempered and judgmental.

I only hope that Lois and Clark start an investigation about Larry and find out some unsavory things in his past or some deal-breaking character issues.

Is it ethical to put Larry in a tense situation where he has to make some sort of choice that will reveal his character? And reveal it in front of Kiley? Before she tells him the big secret?
