Loved the update
The dinner was fabulously presented. And that piece was hilarious.
“Yeah,” she replied without missing a beat. “Once I’d read ‘Hop on Pop,’ to him.”
“How did you read him a book from here?” her father asked quizzically.
Lois merely arched a brow. “Do you really think I don’t have that story memorized at this point?”
“I did,” Lois admitted. She was tempted to play with the edges of her cape, like she always did when she talked to her therapist about uncomfortable subjects, but she realized that she was here as herself, and not the superhero. It made her feel strangely more vulnerable.
