*yay* for the update. What a nice way to end a day. Long FDK will have to wait though smirk

As for the "going after the family": It's actually quite common in certain circles to do just that. Often, they go after the family right in front of the one they want to punish, before they punish him. It is a very effective way of establishing control through terror, because then everyone *knows* that this will happen. And a lot of people might be willing to accept their own death over helping but not the death of their loved ones.

Whether it's for Lois to be in character to do so, it's hard to say, but a lot can happen to people given the proper motivation and human nature does have a dark side. I do not know how many of us have ever been truly brought to the brink of such decision, and then chosen what we would call the "right" choice. What I do know is, that when you hear about them in story-form, the moral is, that they died following what they believed was right.

I, for one, do believe you portrayed it well and am looking forward to how you are going to tackle this subject. It is certainly wrought with potholes the size of the Arizona Meteor Crater and I would love for Lois's victims to all be the scum of the Earth. But somehow, I doubt it. The real question is, *why* did they do it? Was it Lex's way of destroying Lois, assuming he knows? Was it a way to get a disposable assassin? But then, this is the heart of Africa, and given the socio-political situation, those shouldn't be too hard to come by. So, yeah, my money is on The Boss having a hand in this.

Huh, now look at that. It's almost a complete piece of FDK in and of it self huh
