But could she trust Menzies? Or Daniel? And even if she could, how much authority did they have at EPRAD? What if the scientists decided that this was their ideal opportunity to experiment on an alien?

And some crazy extrapolation, given his lack of glasses: I can't help but wonder how Clark would approach the subject of Lois returning from taking her shower and Clark seeing her in the all-together. Should be fun, him obsessing about whether to ask why she's naked or just assume that they're actually more than acquaintances.
So - do you want part three tonight (Monday evening)? Or wait until Wednesday evening or possibly Thursday morning?
And speaking of wishful thinking. I actually read this as "three parts tonight" and couldn't stop obsessing about how a short absence would prompt so many chapters, not that I would complain
