1) They are expecting him not to return before she does. 2) Lois doesn't want her Clark to worry, knowing that she's over in the other dimension pregnant and possibly still cursed and possibly still going to die of complications with him not to have a way to reach her. Why stress him out over something he won't have it in his power to do anything about? They plan on telling him when she returns and the NK's have left for good.
