Gosh darn it, Ann (cute pen name, btw ... at least I hope it's a pen name ... if not, you probably got teased a lot growing up <g>), this was just fantastic. I really loved the setting, seeing Lois's thoughts about Superman as he flew her home. And I loved how he slipped a little, then had it all come crashing down on him.
And then her singing to Clark ... that was just great. I loved the fact that, while she was mortified that anyone else might hear her, for Clark, she was willing to not just keep humming but to play it up for him. Like Gerry's recent "Raisin" story, it shows one of those intimate "couple" moments that they regularly shared even before they were an official couple.
The revelation itself was clever, too, and I can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve, LOL. I only hope that she figures out quickly that it's Clark who is the real person and doesn't just settle for him because she thinks she's found a clever way to catch Superman.
Can't wait for part 2! Any schedule you want to share with us? Pretty please?
