Joan: laugh Jimmy's always been a little obtuse...<<cough, cough>> slow on the uptake. wink Why would Bruce want to make Lois's life easier, again? It was my understanding that Bruce Wayne/Batman is a little socially... well, shall we say 'awkward'?

Tank: I'm so glad you are still enjoying my story. I am humbled by your generous compliments. Thank you. blush

I have to say that I'm a bit confused as to why Lois is so against telling Clark that she had spent the past year in the other dimension and that Lara is there biological child. I know she's afraid of him 'finding out' about her indiscretion, but just admitting that she was hiding out in the alt dimension while a younger version of herself was 'holding her place' while she was having Lara does not mean that Clark needs to find out about Clark.
Lois has spent the last year of her life lying to everyone (except her immediate alt-family). She's been holding tightly onto her control, she isn't quite sure how to relax and let go of it. A part of her feels if she lets go of this control everything will escape, even the stuff she doesn't want to reveal. She's scared about losing Clark because of her big mistake. And even though the offer from Tank is very, very tempting, she really wants her marriage to Clark to work, since he is her soul mate, father of her child (whom she really does love) and all. wink Lois just wants to put it all behind her and move on with her life like it never happened.

Also, it's well known that I don't like Jimmy. I think he is a pretty lame character, but he is supposed to be one of their best friends. Why would Lois and Clark let him hang with such a 'wrong' impression of Lois. Tell him the truth, it's obvious that Penny knows already anyway.
Why haven't they told Jimmy? Hhhmmm. Canon Clark really isn't all about the reveal, is he? He prefers if someone learns about his super-status, they do so naturally (by figuring it out on their own). Clark never admitted to Penny that her guess was correct, either. Please, remember it still has only been less than 24 hours since Jimmy saw Lois push Superman onto the desk. They haven't yet figured out what to do about it, yet.

BTW: I am curious as to how the altLois/Ultrawoman is doing.
Gee, I better get working on my sequel... "The Further Adventures of Superman and Ultra Woman"... I'm almost done writing the sequel to Green-Eyed Monster. So, I guess I have something new to work on when I finish that.
