That's not good. Clark! Lois needs to slap you again! He's being selfish at this time (and it seems previously as well), if he thinks he's the only one hurting. There are others who understand this less than he does. Yes, Lois chose the wrong words, but what was she supposed to say? She's already awkward enough around him...
And wait: yes, Clark needs slapped again. No, it hasn't been two weeks since he's seen his kids. He just hasn't spent much time with them. He hasn't really talked to Lois in two weeks (in fact, it's more like he's avoided her). But you're right that he hasn't spent much time with his family.
