). They're good books, among the best of the YA dystopiate novels, in my humble librarian's opinion (yes, I read lots of YA books; I'm a high school librarian, after all). I thought the movie was pretty good, but the book was better (and the movie did change a few things). There have been reams written about the books (and not just fanfic), frequently "unofficial" and some of it better than others. I *have* them, I just haven't *read* them. ;D I *should* have been a librarian....
