Laura,

Another great part. I'm glad that Clark let Rachel help with Jamie, hopefully she'll come to realise that L&C aren't going to send her back and she can trust them enought to be able to tell Clark what she saw. I can completely understand her desire to protect her parents. Especially given what she's been through.

Trying to picture Superman herding up cattle brought a smile to my face. laugh

Hope it's not as long before we see the next part! smile

I just realized that it didn't post the whole thing. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of it on me, so I'll fix it after I get home tonight. Thanks for still being interested after all this time.

Hi,

Great part. thumbsup She getting a long with the baby.

Quote
"So you *do* care about him," he said with a smirk. Papa Gary stubbed his cigarette out on her arm. Rachel suppressed a cry of pain as he motioned to someone that she couldn't see, and the person who hurt the little boy in the park came in and smiled at Rachel.

"What have you got there?" the person asked.

Rachel hid Jamie behind her and shook her head, refusing to answer. Papa Gary grabbed her arms and threw her towards the wall. His new friend came up to the bed and smiled. "A little boy... just what I was looking for."
OMG! What a nightmare! eek

Quote
Rachel tugged her nightgown back into place and sighed. "Peoples are *mean*," she said. "They'll hurt us if we let them, but we can't act like we know that. If they know that we know, the hurting will get worse."

"I know," she whispered, "because Papa Gary got meaner when I cried. Other peoples will, too, because they're like *him*."
This is starting to worry me. She can influence little Jimmy when he grew up.

confused Can Clark a tune to Rachel in his sleep to hear what she said?

More ASAP, please.

MAF wink

Happy Birthday Laura! thumbsup

~Liz

Lois: Can I go?
Clark: No.
Lois: Oh come on, Clark, why do we go through this? We both know I’m going to go.
Clark: Then why do you ask?
Lois: I’m trying to be nice.
