Wow.

I knew that this was gonna be amazing, and it was. Such jumbled up confused emotions. Such clear thinking from Gillian. Has she worried about this possibility before? Clark was kind of being a lunkhead, but he was stuck -- two women he cares for, and there's only one of him.

I'm sad for Gillian. She's a good person and doesn't deserve this heartache.

I have to admit, I'd kind of guessed it might go this way, just from the title. Sounds to me like chaos theory and "the butterfly effect" -- one butterfly flapping its wings in South America can change the weather over New England. So now I'm cautiously hopeful that this will end up being about Gillian's "legacy" -- that she helped Clark know himself better, and that would end up helping his relationship with Lois.

But I'm not betting any money on it <g>

replying to myself to bump this up... I couldn't help noticing a theme of sorts (yeah, this has been pointed out before, I'm sure, but there were some great examples in this section)

Quote
It didn’t matter, he insisted within his warring heart. Whether he forgot her or not. He’d found someone else who loved him. All of him.
Quote
theirs had been a relationship based on knowing each other from the inside out, he’d rather she know everything.
and yet...

Quote
She blinked. “I didn’t know you had...parents.”
That one short line is very poignant.

Lois will still be the first woman who knows Clark completely -- ordinary guy, superhero, and super-powered guy around the house. (Err, assuming he goes back to Lois, that is! goofy ) (And if he doesn't, he owes it to Gillian to let her in on all his secrets, take her to meet his parents, etc.)

"Sam" hasn't exactly been straight with Gillian. She doesn't know "Clark Kent". So there, there are two people who don't know him. What I hate most about thisstory is that as soon as it gets intense, the section ends. More! Please! Now! cat

I'm a firm believer in the fact that God doesn't put any more on us than we can bear. He does however make us come to Jesus every so often.

Wow, that was incredible! clap Such a powerful section.
Though, I feel kind of sorry for Gillian. She was so understanding and doesn't deserve a broken heart.

I'm waiting eagerly for the next part,

Julia smile
