<snuffle> Lynn, that was simply adorable! The atmosphere was perfect and Emma's deep thought wonderful. And the pay-off.... LabRat (as eagerly awaiting that second delivery as Emma was expecting Santa )
Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly. Aramis: Yes, sorry. Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

Yay!! I loved it, Lynn! That was fantastic! I loved the logical leaps -- she's definitely Lois and Clark's daughter <g> -- and especially the tag line at the end. Oh, and "wouldn't have to buy one of those divorce things, LOL! But my favorite line of all -- "Come here and I'll stuff your stocking." ROTFL! Go Clark! That's my boy! Perfect Christmas story! Kathy (who has employed the use of Barbie Rapunzel tapes herself )

Very nice story, Lynn. She's a smart girl, figuring out it's her father under that disguise. Let's just hope her sister can keep a secret, too, when she tells her.

Very sweet, Lynn. She's quite smart for her age already. And keeping secrets like that... Loved her child logic! And I'm at the last line. Saskia

When in doubt, think about penguins. It probably won't help, but at least it'll be fun.

Lynn,
I just finished reading this over on the archives (I'd been away and missed it when you posted here.) So, sorry this feedback is late, but better late than never, right?
This is adorable! I absolutely fell in love with little Emma, and the image of her backing up the stairs on her bottom is just precious. What an intelligent little girl, how she puts together all the pieces of the puzzle (so that's how Santa manages to deliver all those gifts in just one night... he travels at Super-speed! LOL).
You have put a smile on my face that will last for quite awhile. Thanks for a wonderful feel-good story!
