Had a crazy idea to further complicate things, if the writer wanted to do it....

The writer should pair the items together, like having the Ninjas and the unusal Pie happen within the same scene.

This leads to some funny combinations.

5. Another Superhero
6. A man in a dress

31. Vampires
32. Ballerinas

35. Lois gets new furniture
36. Something exploding

47. A shovel
48. Temporary amnesia

57. A girl screaming about her icecream cone
58. Cat Grant saying something wise

69. A trip to another country
70. An igloo in a strange place

71. An improbable use for chocolate
72. Cookies that tast terrible

83. An insane assylum
84. Sherwood Forrest

89. A cute little puppy
90. Darth Vader working as a clerk

Just to name a few...

James

And, just in case someone didn't know what Crack-Paring is (I didn't), here is the definition from
Fan Fiction Terminology at Wikipedia
Quote
Crackfic
A form of fanfiction in which characters are put in very random, nonsensical situations, and most often are all OOC. Such stories are often written and posted to the internet on the spur of the moment, and are usually laced with in-jokes amusing only the writer and a small circle of the writer's friends. Also known as a sugarfic, probably from the author's notes that the story was written on a "sugar high". Some connoisseurs of Fanfiction claim that almost all crackfics are now short and poorly written.

That's a heck of a list!

I'll probably tackle some of it this weekend while I study for my art history final. I've already got a working definition for 'leftindiary.' goofy

Okay, I kept looking at this list and thinking it was crazy. Then my muse decided to tackle it.

Shadow, I didn't see that you were going to do one until mine was done. Please continue.

Here it is. The Great Grandmother Challenge

It did end up being a little longer than I had thought because it included so many items.

Oh, yeah, I agree. But considering the name and some of the elements, how could I not write this? Hmmm.... Forty-Two, Forty-Two....

Oh, no prob! Great thing about the challenges are all the different crazy stories that come out! Besides, I'm a real slacker when it comes to writing. I'll probably *start*...in a couple of weeks? goofy

I started working on something, but I'm trying to make it look like a real fic (answering a scavenger hunt à la Paul) so it will probably take me a long while. I haven't written any L&C fic in yonks.

See ya,

Finally decided to post my half-finished fic that answers the challenge. It isn't getting any younger. http://www.lcficmbs.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=009661

...Incidentally, just to elaborate on what a crack pairing is (the definition I learned):

A romantic pairing between two characters who wouldn't even be considered a potential couple unless the author was insane.

Example: Jimmy Olsen and Martha Kent.

To clarify just a bit more;

*Lois/Clark would not be a crack pair, because they're the official canon couple.

*Clark/Mayson would not be a crack pair, because they were basically set up as another possible couple for the show--she was the 'other woman', if you will.

To be a crack pair, there has to be absolutely no in-show basis for the two characters to be a couple.

Is that clear? Of course, no points taken off for already-finished fics that worked it in without the definition.
smile

Although...Y'all may want to keep the definition handy for the future... evil

I used James definition above, which gave no mention of romance. I suppose by including the word "pair" in the name it could be defined as romantic, however there are so many shows out there with teams, particularly in the realm of heroes and villains, that I didn't go there mentally.

Hmm, that is a very good point. I hadn't considered the possibility of a crack team-up. O_o

Btw, I think you just gave me an idea for the next big challenge... goofy

I may take on this challenge...or at least bits of it...you definitely have created plot bunnies that are now multiplying like...well, like bunnies. I think I'm done now...I shouldn't be allowed to talk to people...
