Wow! That pretty much sums up my reaction when I read that one, Wendy. Every time I think you've done TOGOM so many times that there's NO WAY you can find something else to say about it, you prove me wrong. This time you made me see Lois's pain and grief and remorse as she realises that her fear of commitment made her miss the best thing that ever happened to her, or could have happened to her if she'd listened to her heart and not her head. Thank you for sharing that fantastic vignette. Kaethel

Nice little cheery vignette, I forgot who wrote this...
Let's see; TOGoM adaption A wee bit o' angst Lois' wallowing in her grief A wee bit more angst Lois' realization that she has been in denial And a touch more angst
Got it! Wendy! (the evil queen of TOGoM) The only person to ever write fics related to the episode That Old Gang of Mine. (At least I think that's true)
Tank (who reminds the gentle readers that he's old and his memory isn't what it used to be)

That was great, Wendy! Beautifully written, as always. I really loved how many references to other episodes you manages to include--it jogged so many vivid memories from the show, but you absolutely made it your own. Of course, since there WILL be no coffin...will Lois give that letter to the Kents so Clark will know Lois loves him?

<sniff> OK, it's raining outside today, and this was the perfect match for the gray skies. Lovely, Wendy, how you've managed to convey Lois's grief and regrets. She had something so wonderful she didn't even see until it was far too late. And this goes to show - there is always another angle to TOGOM <g>. Wonderful! <sniff> Lynn

Wow! Seriously, it was just beautiful, Wendy. Very poignant and angsty. Just like how every single story should be. Thanks for sharing it! Elena

Wow! Thank you all so very much for your comments! I'm stunned and delighted. I'm so glad you liked this little piece. Wendy! (the evil queen of TOGoM) The only person to ever write fics related to the episode That Old Gang of Mine. ROFL!!! Well, I think LabRat and Kaethel and Nan and KathyB and a few others - yourself included, Tank - might have something to say about that! I'm still in shock...
Who would have ever thought Wendy could write a TOGOM rewrite? You're just Thank you all very much indeed!! Wendy

Uh oh. I was all prepared to say how much I loved this little vignette when I noticed the continuity error. Seasons Greedings, the Christmas episode, happened two episodes after ToGoM. So if Lois is writing this thinking Clark is still dead, the whole Christmas thing hadn't happened yet.
Besides that, I did love the letter Lois wrote for her own catharsis. Only knowing you, I'm sure this letter will fall into Clark's hands eventually.
