Since I don't write long form fics any more I thought I'd throw this little idea out there to see if anyone's interest is peaked by it.
We all know that Tempus loves 'irony', and he has made it his life mission to sabotage the 'happy ever after' future of Lois and Clark/Superman.
What if he decided to let Lois do his dirty work for him?
We've been told that if one goes back in time they have to be very careful not to 'change' anything because it could have catastrophic ripple effects on the future.
So, let's suppose Tempus decides to send an older, happily married Lois back to the time when Lois and Clark are fresh co-workers; could Lois keep her 'hands off'? Tempus doesn't think so.
He's counting on Lois' inability to merely be an observer to achieve his goals. He sure that Lois will do 'something' that will have timeline changing impact.
Tempus send Lois back, and sits back and watches as hilarity ensues... or something like that.
