has a hunch that she will come to love him later?
Perhaps I think of a premonition differently then you.
I am picturing Lois experiencing in a fraction of a second, between one of Clark's words and the next, an event lasting hours.
Literately being a passenger in her own mind and body for those last few hours up to the moment at the alter.
The Archbishop says "And do you, Lois, take this man to be your wedded husband from this day forward, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part?"
And Lois replies "I...I... can't"
At that point Lois is again aware of her surrounding, from her point of view several hours have passed, whereas in fact it has been less then a millisecond.
