Week of October 30, 1989

These three poems were originally going to be song lyrics but I changed my mind. They were among the first things I wrote after I prayed to God to give me something to do with my life after giving up all my unfulfilling hobbies for my walk with Christ.

Jesus Wants To

Jesus wants to be with you on Judgment Day.
Jesus wants to help guide your way.

Jesus wants to fill you with His loving spark.
Jesus never wants to be apart
from you.

Jesus changed the water into wine.
Jesus can change you too.

All you have to say is "I am thine,
Your will is mine to do."

Jesus saved me from my iniquity.
He can do the same for you.

All you have to do is give your sins to Him,
And ask him to love you too.
