Ooooooooooh - intriguing! Very, very intriguing. And, nope, don't have any zingers to report.  Really enjoyed this first taste of what looks to be an interesting story, Diane. Hmm, I'm dying to know what's going on here... good writing so far. Poor Clark...
And how well do we get to know Janice? It's really interesting to look at things through her eyes, given all that we know about "Maybe-Charlie" that she doesn't and can't even guess at.
