Still looking for a good subtitle.

Okay, here's chapter two. This means that I have posted two chapters of this story but still haven't finished with one to replenish the buffer. That is not good.

I'm getting into my busy time. Our local convention is in one month, and the stuff I have to do is now coming to the fore.

Why do I always post my stories when I don't have time to write them?

If you have any comments of any kind, you can put them here.

Hey,

I managed to speed-read through P&S I enough to understand why Clark lost his powers and how Lois and Clark met through Lucy.

Any chance you're going to give Clark his powers back? NOW would be good (visions of blood disappearing and bruises turning back to healthy pink skin).

I'm glad you made Henderson a good guy. I was worried he might actually consider killing Lois (as her partner, he could easily make it look like a shooting accident and get away with it)

Will wait patiently for #3.... Lois Lane to save the day!

Well, TPAS II: The Return of Superman would work for me, Tank! goofy

Seriously... I love the way you handled Bill telling Lois that he's supposed to kill her. Now, there would have been the perfect moment for a Tank ending! eek

Okay, I can deal with more now... wink

Hi,

Great part. smile1 Lane and Kent in action.

Quote
Clark stood. Even without his powers he was still a large, well-built man, but he had no real experience at fighting. Especially street fighting. Also, it was one against four. As it turned out there were only two good things that came out of the situation. The woman was able to get away while the street punks were focused on Clark. And they didn't feel any need to use more than their fists and their feet to deal with 'grannie's hero'.

After a few minutes of 'fun', the young thugs got bored and left Clark lying battered and beaten in the alley. It wasn't starting out to be a good day.
Lois should give him some classes. smile1

Hi Tank,

Another very good part and you are drawing me into the story very quickly.

I have lots of questions I want answered. Will Henderson leave or go deep undercover? What will happen to Henderson when Nigel and his boss realize he isn't carrying out his side of the bargain? Will Lois be targeted by another hit man? And, the big question, will Clark get back his superpowers in time to protect her?

I'd kinda like to see him manage without his powers for a time, but it is your story and I'm just looking forward to reading more, so I hope your real life doesn't get too busy. wink

I am very glad that Henderson isn't a crook - the end of part I was very evil of you.

Lois's musings about her feelings towars Clark and vice are are cute.

Clark should take lessons in self-defence - or maybe Lois wants to teach him?

I really appreciate your A-plots being so well connected that I can follow all the action. And I like what everybody's doing. Lois likes Clark even though he doesn't have powers, Henderson isn't a crook, and Clark is learning how to be not super.

More, please. I'm enjoying it. thumbsup

I'm totally with Wendy on the subtitle.

Loved Clark looking out over the city from the DP roof. Found that to be such a smart and poignant observation. How that brings him a bit of comfort since he can no longer fly.

Really, really nice.
