I finally got caught up! How typical of us gentle readers to guess that proof of Henderson's death came in the envelope (yep, I did too). We should know better...
With Clark's reaction to Lois' confession about Henderson, she's not likely to come right out with info on this new deal she's taken... but I hope I'm wrong about that! The plot thickens.
Can't wait to read more,

Yay.....Henderson is alive (for now, as you alluded).
Nay....Clark's life is in danger. He needs his powers back NOW!!
If it was anyone but you writing the story, Tank, I wouldn't be so worried. I know you would never kill your gal Lois (unless she let her hair grown long, of course), but Henderson and Clark - well, it takes out the competition if you eliminate both of them <g>!!

Thanks to those gentle readers who were able to comment on the last part. I somehow felt that most would favor an alive Henderson over the flash-fried variety I had originally planned.
Sorry I missed my posting day, but since no one seemed to notice I guess it means that it was okay. At least now I'll be back on my original posting day.
Chapter ten will be up later tonight.
Tank (who really needs to find a job that pays a LOT of money but which doesn't include actually working all the time)

Just awesome. So much in this part. Adored how we find Bill. How you describe his surroundings. His meeting with St John. Swift, clever dialogue. This: He'd been worrying about what Lois had been thinking since they brought him here. Perhaps his time might be better spent worrying about his own skin. because it speaks so well to who this character is. And this: Bill shook his head. "No, I don't think so. If you wanted me dead, I already would be. You have something else in mind." He waited only a beat, not allowing St. John to answer. "Oh, and the answer is no." because it made me laugh. Love your Bill Henderson, long may he live. And Clark meets Arianna. This is really, really good. Why was I watching the Red Sox and missing out?? (I don't mean that Johnny Damon, but that's b/w you and me.) CC
