Hattie generated some interest in my short stories about the Kent clan.

She first met Jon Kent on their first day of middle school and maintained that friendship and association.

Lois Lane was her hero and eventually her mentor when she started on the city desk at that Planet when Lois and Clark were promoted to the editor's office.

If you are interested in more Hattie stories, make your opinion known by leaving a note here.

I would be interested in more Hattie stories if you want to write them. Kapin and Olsen would be a new take on Lois and Clark, what with neither actually being Super, they might have to use investigating skills more.

Then of course there is how people will handle Lois and Clark retiring as editors and then bringing bakc Lois and Clark as reporters. The new editor might even stick the new Lois and Clark as understudies to Kaplin and Olsen.

As there's no actual poll attached, moving this from Fun With Polls into Fanfic Related.

I'd read more Hattie stories <after she's finished her sessions with Dr. Friskin>, if you have more ideas. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the ups and downs of her relationship with James Jr. Olsen. I can just imagine that she likes him at the wedding and then when they're teamed up at work, she doesn't want to mix business with pleasure, leading to some similar anicdotes like LnC's relationship.

Well, at least I have a couple of people that are interested.

I'm not sure when I'll return to Hattie at this point. If she had generated more interest, it would have been sooner.

For the time being I'll concentrate on my main series.

Volume 6 is almost ready for beta and I'm considering plotlines for Volume 7.

I'm enjoying your Hattie stories. I posted earlier but my post seems to have disappeared.

Hattie is one histrionic little miss! I love her.
You write it, I read it.

Hi Meadowrose,

I can explain the missing note. Initially I had set this up in the poll section and the linki sent you there.

Labby moved it becuse there was no actual poll to the Fanfic related section and I had to fix the link.

Thanks for the response.

More and more people are responding so I may just write another using one of DC's Winter challenge as a prompt.

Hi SJH,

Thanks for the comment.

The more people that post comments the greater the incentive to write more.

Don't miss my Halloween entry going up this coming week. Hattie makes a cameo.

Cameos are always fun!

Where did you come up with that name? It belongs to my sweet great Aunt!

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Hi Morgana,

I guess since I've been working with you, I've started channeling you.
