Gads, Wendy. I'm so sorry.

2 months ago (On Christmas), I lost my dad. Also rather unexpectedly. One minute battling cancer with leukemia. The next hospitalized in intensive care for a nasty drug reaction (Stephens johnson syndrome), days later... gone.

I'm so sorry. So very sorry for your loss.

Beautifully written.

Now I know why you haven't responded to the one email I sent you.

God's blessing on you and your family.

Leela, I'm so sorry for your loss too. How awful, especially when it happens so suddenly and without warning. mecry Thank you for reading and for posting - I know this must be very hard for you too.

James and Elisabeth, thank you too for your words of sympathy, which I do appreciate very much. But I didn't get an email from you - when did you send it?

Wendy
Sent it on Feb 2nd and sent it to address that comes up when we click on the little envelope on your posts.

It's alright that you didn't respond, I sent it to three others as well and only one of them responded. I figured that y'all didn't have an opinion on what I asked or had more important things on your minds.

James, who, thankfully, still has both of his parents, but is expecting to face this situation sooner that I would like with my own mother.

Made me want to write a long letter to her. (I'm not the phone type).

Wendy, your story is truly beautiful and heartfelt. It brought tears to my eyes and I could feel the raw emotion in your words. I am so so sorry for your loss. I know writing can be cathartic, and I'm glad to read that writing this was just that for you. I can relate to this story and am glad you shared it~

Wow Wendy, I started to read this and had to stop. It started to get too emotional for me. Not because I lost my Dad years ago and it brought up memories and not because I am losing my step Dad who I know longer then my own father, but it is because I can hear your own sadness in this at the loss of your Mother.

I can not imagine what it must be like to lose my Mom, the thought of it makes me well up. I will read this eventually. I am sure it is beautiful. You know that I love the way you write. But right now this is too sad, especially for you. When I feel like I can start it again without imagining what it feels like to stand in your shoes I will try again. In the meantime I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you feel at peace. May you cherish all your memories of your Mom and may they always stay crystal clear in your mind. Laura

Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age.
