AUGH! *falls over* I know I've seen bits of this before, but that whole part just tears at me. Poor Lois! Poor Clark! I just want to hug them both and tell them it will be fine. Because it will, eventually, right? Right?? Can't wait to see more.

Well, the title is sure apt. Definitely a TOGOM we've never seen! I have no clue how you are going to fix this, but it's going to be a wild ride! More soon! Artemis

Beautifully written, Wendy - in fact, your best perhaps. The sense of anguish is so strong, both for Clark and especially for Lois too ( plus her surprise!). But now I'm wondering about a "broken toys" warning? That there isn't one is a good sign, I'm thinking. But this isn't a Lois deathfic, is it? Hoping that your posting this on the Easter weekend is symbolic. c.

Interesting that everyone assumes you will fix things, Wendy. I do not assume this . . .
Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

Lois as a ghost? Interesting idea. Keep it up.
I believe there's a hero in all of us that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams. -- Aunt May, Spider-Man 2

Very interesting start.
Gee, who would have thought that Wendy would post yet another version of TOGoM. Has she ever written before I wonder?

Wendy soooo good! Don't fix it (as evil as it might be to say) keep Lois dead! Makes for a better story ~Lois Lane Wanna Be

Lois: Can I go? Clark: No. Lois: Oh come on, Clark, why do we go through this? We both know I’m going to go. Clark: Then why do you ask? Lois: I’m trying to be nice.

Whoa! Superb Please tell me you have a buffer, atleast for the next 2 or more parts.
If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

Can I just say that I'm really scared to read this story? There's a level of angst I got wind of that I just don't know if I'm comfortable with. (Translation: I'm *so* going to read this the second I'm done voting and when the muse slows down a bit... she's a bit angsty herself right now ). Wanna hear something creepy? Rach is inhabiting my body right now... very odd... I have the urge to light things on fire... but anyway, she wanted to say this: Oooooo, a "ghost" story! I love that, so different and refreshing, You definitely got my attention. I hope to see the next part soon!! Sara (who is starting to worry about Rach having *way* too much fun with this inhabitation thing)

Okay. I know I said I wouldn't read this until I finished my own assignment <g> so I have more incentive. But if you seriously expect me to stay away from Wendy stories, you are kidding. Wendy, this is awesome. A-w-e-s-o-m-e. And angsty. And dark. And I totally have no idea what you plan to do with her. And poor Clark!! And poor Lois too!!! Please, please, don't leave us in the dark like this! Julie
