Hi, Firstly, I'll apologise to those who don't like babies in stories, and I'm sure you won't be reading this. However, I hope that some readers will continue and even enjoy. It's been a while since I've posted, so I'm a little worried. Please let me know if you think my efforts were worth it. Yours Jenni

So glad to see you posting this, Jenni. I'm reminded again of how wonderful your use of details is, giving us such a strong sense of 'being' there. You've captured L & C's cautious happiness at finding the baby so well. c.

:You've given us a believable scenario for the first few hours that the baby is in the Kent home.
I even find Lois as an almost Mommy believable.
And interesting that the baby reminds Martha and Jonathan of Clark.
I'm interested in seeing where this goes.

Great start! Now, I love babies, and always wanted a good explanation of where that one came from. I've read a few, but I'm always open to another. I'm very curious to see where you go with this. To that end, please post MORE!
Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

Great start to your story, Jenni. I can't wait to find out more about the baby. Where did he come from? How did arrive in their living room. And most importantly: why does he seem to resemble the baby Clark once was??? Please post more soon, Sira

Thanks for writing this, Jenni. If anyone can come up with an interesting, believable story about the Family Hour baby, you can. I've always enjoyed your stories and I look forward to finishing this one. Marge

Hi Excelent story. “Yup! And he does have a dirty diaper.” Clark stated the obvious, trying not to turn his sensitive nose away from the unpleasant smell, and smiling apologetically at the tiny boy for the instinctive reaction. “Honey, do you have any of those ‘wipes’ you use? I can clean him up a bit, at least.” “Honey, I think it’s maybe a bit premature to be calling yourself Mommy.”
“The note said the baby was ours!” Lois reiterated, glaring belligerently at Clark. Lois already loves the baby Next part ASAP please. Karla

Jenni, like everyone has said, this is off to a wonderful start. Lois is typically impulsive, just diving right into this "baby business" despite feeling nervous and inexperienced. And Clark wants this *so* badly, but is afraid to give in quite yet. You can feel their emotions leaping off the page at you. Just marvelous.
I'm eager to see where you're going to take this...

Hi,
I'd like to thank you for your kind words and your confidence in my writing.
I just hope you all think that the rest of the story lives up to the 'good' start.
I'm attempting to post 2 X week, so look for the second part tomorrow morning.
Yours Jenni

I will catch up! I will! I will! Though she might lack confidence in her mothering skills, she couldn't deny the strong feeling of connection she'd been experiencing since picking up the wriggling baby I like that Lois is unsure about how to handle things, but all the same, she's starting to feel an unexplained connection. I'm very intrigued and looking forward to finding out just where that baby came from! Sara

Hi Jenni Interesting story. I always wondered how the baby showed up like that. As they didn't produce a 5th season, I will be reading this avidly!!! I will catch up with it soon. I gotta start reading again and I can't think of a better way to do that but read your stories MDL.
