Definitely lives up to expectations.
New Krypton, eh? And Zara wants to tell them, but has to be careful. I smell trouble brewing from Cor.
Loved the way Lois just took over and accepted baby Matthew. And it's Clark being pragmatic at this point.
Carry on...

The baby smiled up at the pretty lady above him and tried to do as he was told, but he was just a few weeks old and the words were in a language he wasn't sure of, though his smile accompanied with a happy gurgle seemed to work wonders, as the four adults grinned back. I love that paragraph! Great story! James

Great story!
James Ditto, James! Matthew origins? A Clark' clone? My thought: now, I don't know anything about cloning, above all cloning a kryptonian , but do you think kryptonian scientists could mixing Clark's DNA and Lois'DNA (perhaps modificated) and create a baby? I mean, dr. Mamba mixed human and amphibious DNA! I'm asking because Jenni did not say the word "clone", and wrote about "their child" or "project 'baby Kent'", not "project 'Kal El clone'"! Mind you, a complete Clark's clone doesn't bother me at all! Lois DNA would not difficult to have: she was among possible concubines for Kal (even if it was only an undercover thing), protocol could say that blood was taken from them by kryptonian phisicians to analyze to protect their precious First Lord from diseases! oh,boy. When you're pondering about kryptonian DNA, Kryptonian doctors' abilities, or DNA in general when you study Humanities to earn your living, and it's almost 1:00 a.m., it's really time to go to bed. 'night, Simona

Ah, great part! I love it how Lois is being so motherly and protective, and Clark thinks they're all a little nuts. :p

Quite a lot happening in this section! A new character in Cro-Nor, more depth to Zara, and a nicely sketched Jonathan, a Lois who is both confident and yet unsure of how to proceed in this new situation, and a Clark who is bemused by it all. Loved the contrast between the pressure facing Zara and Ching and the casual family atmosphere in the Kent household. Especially liked the interaction bewteen Clark and Jonathan. So many different emotions too. really liked this bit: "Lois, you have to believe me, I have never...." "That hadn't even occurred to me!" But now she was remembering, remembering when she'd just agreed to wear Clark's ring and the emotional roller-coaster she'd been on when Leigh-Anne Stipanovic had convinced the world that her child was Superman's. Lois' babble gene stilled and her gut lurched as she relived that doubt... and now another child had turned up with links to Superman. Her happiness at finding Matthew evaporated. In the kitchen no one spoke; even Martha restrained her impulse to mediate, intervene... interfere while Lois searched her husband's face. And what she saw there in Clark's eyes was the truth. They've come a long way. c.

Ah, Jenni! So glad to see that you are posting this! Now, you know how much I hated the way Family Hour ended... but I really like your take on events. You make the baby actually seem plausible. Kudos. Chris

Hi everyone, Thanks for the fdk and Simona, please read the next part! I hope you won't be disappointed with the science, or should that really be science-fiction? What am I saying? Don't New Kryptonians really exist? Yours Jenni

Well, this makes me believe that there actually WAS a Season Five.
And this is much better than what the producers had in mind...
Looking forward to the next part(s)

Hi Jenni Hmmmm... I always had the same theory.. that Zara and ching have sent them a baby. i am not sure if I agree with Lois being so hyper about being a mother. One thing is to want to have a child, but when it actually appears out of no where.. i don't if i'd be this hyper. Lois is a practical woman... She would be worried about bottles, formulas, making schedules... i don't see Lois being so eager to be called mommy. Actually I think she would be terrified by the responsibility of a baby once she gets pregnant..I can't imagine Lois hper about a baby she doesnt know who sent her or if she can keep it. Hmmm... I might be wrong. I don't know. I'd better read the rest. But appart from this, Zara and Ching being responsible for the situation meets all my expectations since i first watched the episode!!! You read thoughts, Jenni!!! MDL
