ROTFLMAO!!! Got to say, Hazel, despite my Lex-fan status, I adore the final word! Kaethel (wiping tears of laughter from her eyes )
- I'm your partner. I'm your friend. - Is that what we are? - Oh, you know what? I don't know what we are. We kiss and then we never talk about it. We nearly die frozen in each other's arms, but we never talk about it, so no, I got no clue what we are.

I know various songs set to this tune (in addition to the original), and I think this one is the funniest. *wanders off giggling* Oh, and Lex goes >splat< so well, why take that away from him?
Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

ROFL!!
Lois: Well, I like my quirks. I think they make me unique. Clark: You certainly are unique.
Clark: You're high maintenance, you know that? Lois: But I'm worth it!

LOL!!! Sadly to say, I couldn't stand Mary Poppins and the only song from it I really know is the Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious one, so I couldn't match much more than a tiny bit of the chorus. But oh, I could see the whole thing, and it was FUNNY. Glad to see that Jack was spared, and the Smart Kids were fine. I think I prefer the SPLAT. I'm quite anti-Lex, even though that ending is a common one. Such a satisfying finish . . . (The fact I like it so much shows my hidden violent streak, doesn't it?)
Don't point. You make holes in the air and the faeries escape.

So, seven out of nine people prefer SPLAT!, hm? I've even corrupted Kaethel! Doranwen, for the record, songs taken from musicals -- whether they're plays or movies -- are much easier to filk than the regular kind. That's why so many of my filks were originally sung by Julie Andrews! Teej, Wendy, Yvonne, Doranwen, Rivka, Sara, Kaethel, Ursie, and Tricia, thanks for the FDK! Hazel
