Very good part! I liked your Dr. Warner and Zara's arrival was a surprise - a pleasant one. I can't wait to hear her tell them that Matthew is really theirs.

Lois will be sooo happy!

Jenni, just caught up, reading all five parts in one session. Boy, what a rush! laugh

This is such a wonderful story! I'm riveted. I like your Dr. Warner and the fact that he knows about Clark and Superman. That last scene was very touching.

Looking forward to part six! smile

Lois: Well, I like my quirks. I think they make me unique.
Clark: You certainly are unique.

Clark: You're high maintenance, you know that?
Lois: But I'm worth it!

I just got caught up, thinking the last part had already been posted.

Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

Great part!! thumbsup

I'm glad Zara finally showed up to explain the baby's origin, even though the part ended before she actually had a chance to do so wink .

I'm really looking forward to the next part.

Hi,

I'd like to thank everyone who is commenting on this story. It's really nice to have your support. smile

I'm glad a few of you mentioned that you liked Dr Warner. I really enjoyed writing his character.

Rivka, nice to know that someone else had the same solution for the baby's origins and I'm very glad that my story lives up to your expectations.

However, I do hope that I don't let anyone down with the concluding parts to this story.

Jenni,

I know part 6 is already up, but I couldn't let this part go uncommented on.

I just adore how you drew Doc Warner. Vividly rendered and so real. The little details like:

Quote
Ms Lane," the doctor said in a voice that was only a little stronger than his physique.
And I love how smart this is, how much it tells about him and the role he has played for the Kents:
Quote
He supposed it was difficult for Clark to understand his motives. Young people saw things mostly in black and white, and real life was never so easily judged.
Wonderful. And the scene with Superman tucking him in, and he slips and calls him 'Clark' for the first time... just great.

A pleasure to read. You've made my morning.
