HI Everyone! A couple of nights ago I was looking around on some site and watched a music video in memory of Jonathon Brandis. The song was called Remember When It Rained by Josh Groban. It got me thinking about two friends that had passed away. And so to make a long story short, I decided to make a music video and dedicate it to them in there honor. Hope you like it. Neato!!!!!!!!!!! I can't really get good sounds from my computer today, so I am going to ask: What was the song about? I've never heard that song all the way through b/c when it comes on the radio my husband groans and i will switch it b/c I won't admit I like it What episode was this: the part where Superman is ill and on the bed with a short haired Lois looking over him. During one part she kissed him. I can't remember it! *blush* I'm sorry that you lost two friends. **hug** Thanks for another great video

Thank you all!!! I'm sorry...I thought I had posted a thank you to everyone for the comments on this video... :p Well you know what they say...the mind is the first to go  SuperRoo, the clips where Lois kisses Superman were from Home Is Where The Hurt Is. I had to go back and listen to the song lol, I hadn't listend to it since I made it into a vid but to answer your question, I went to Josh Groban's site, and it says that the song is about coming to grips with the loss of love...hope that helped, and sorry that I didn't reply sooner!! Wow very moving. Sad but the ending was hopeful. I am sorry about your two friends. I think it is wonderful that you chose to do this in their memory. It is a healthy way to deal with your grief as well. Beautifully done. Nice music too. Laura

BEAUTIFUL SONG! Seriously, I've heard a coiuple other Josh Groban songs and loved them too, but now I've just decided to by a whole cd b/c this man's voice is so gorgeous.
Anyway, the video: I'm intrigued by it. I get the proposal and why it's there, but i'm confused enough by some clip choices and effects to actually want a play-by-play breakdown (why you picked every clip you did and if you wanted all of them to go with the lyrics or not), if you're up to it. If not, here are some specific questions:
1) Lyric: Tears of hope run down my skin Clip: Clark being devestated after Lois says she loves Deter. I don't get the connection. Are you trying to mimic the juxtoposition of Clark being happy Lois is healthy, but freaked she thinks she's in love with Deter with the tears and the hope?
2) Lyric: Tears for you that will not dry Clip: Lois putting Clark's glasses back on his face after explaining how she figured out The Secret
3) Lyric: Running down! Clip: Clone Superman in his sleeping pod glaring at Lex who thinks he's asleep (Dean is so dangerously sexy in this clip, I have palpitations!)
4) Why doesn't the last clip in the instrumental break down get the silent film effect?
I really like this video. I think the fades are great (excellent use of black frames) and good clip and mood connections; even if I don't always understand the lyric-clip connection, the clip always seems to fit the mood at least.
