I'm on a roll here. The enthusiastic response to "Blaze of Glory" motivated me to experiment with effects a little more.

By the way, let me say again how much I enjoyed Blaze of Glory. In fact it was so funny because I heard the song on the radio yesterday, and I had watched your vid so many times, that I could see the scenes playing out in my head. Ha ha!

So, I loved your vid. I wondered why you didn't use scenes from "Don't Tug On Superman's Cape," though. I think it would be a perfect match.

And those effects? WOW. They look professional.

Gotta say that I was also a bit surprised not to see anything from DTOSC (or TDWCIFTC), but I kind of like that you didn't. Using them wouldn't be cheating, exactly. And "too easy" doesn't quite fit, either. Something like that, maybe. And they were parodies. And they weren't Lex eps.

Anyway... brilliant vid. Absolutely brilliant.

P.S. The beats work better here. They fit the mood/style, and they're more spaced out. I'm still not personally a huge fan of color inversion, but... they work.

I'll be back later to reply to comments, just wanted to say that I made some very slight changes to the opening sequence and made a higher quality version of the vid. It's better in quality now, so if you like feel free to download it again. It's a little larger in size, but not much.

A better one?! Really?! Okay I'm off to watch now...I'll be back with further comments...

Okay, I'm back now. Again, I just love this vid C_A - I can't even tell you how many times I've watched it. I've lost track. It's great!

I totally and utterly geeked out over this project and made a movie poster to go along with with the vid. Am I taking this too far?

I played around with DTOSC clips, but no matter where I put them, they felt shoehorned in. The vid is about the Lex storyline up until his return in "The Phoenix" (subsequent Lex episodes are too agonizing for me to watch, even for vid making purposes, so I left them out). As a result, I concentrated on episodes that actually had Lex in them and were important in terms of that particular storyline. Yes, the clips at the end are from other eps, but they bring the vid to a close in classic Bond fashion .

DTOSC and, as Paul mentioned, TDWCIFTC are episodes that had absolutely nothing to do with the story I was trying to tell. Hence, they got cut. As director that's my prerogative .

Also, I hate being predictable .

Clark in a tux clips are included, but they're from the Pilot. I hope that will do .

I, too, loved the vid and its wonderful James Bond take on Superman. The music, the explosions, the "James Bond coolness", the sexy romance... it was great. Two of the things I loved most was actually the name, 00S - priceless! And the description: The name is man. Superman.

But:
Neither of those were my idea. Both the 00S and "The name is man. Superman" are straight out of the Bond parody in DTOSC. So I can't take credit for that. I assumed that everyone on the boards had seen the ep and would know where it came from.

Ha ha ha! I love the poster C_A...and it's totally acceptable on these boards to "geekout".

I just saw it and WOW! it's soo cool!! with all the effects and stuff.. I really really like the part where Clark jumped off of the building that must've been an awful lot of work how did you do that Omigosh I'm gonna watch this again hang on
