Interesting approach, Wendy! Boy, when Clark decides to play a jerk, he doesn't mess around... Of course, now he's stuck, 'cause I'm thinking it'll be a while before a revelation would happen smoothly... but it should be great fun to watch! Post part 2, willya? PJ

LOL! Great idea! Favourite line: “Or... uh... okay, we could do this... whatever this is...” Other favourite line: Superman would have to be a jerk. More! Yvonne

LOL OY! I was so happy to see a story by you Wendy. But making Superman such a jerk? Hmmm, not sure how I feel about that. Clark is really pushing it I think. Oh well I hope she finds out who he is. Looking forward to the rest. Laura

Oh boy. Clark, meet shovel. Oh, wait, from the looks of that hole you just dug, you've already met.
I was worrying about Lois not complaining about being hauled away like that, but I'm glad she came to her senses, finally.
Now I'm worried about when the revelation comes. Clark's going to be so far down in that hole, Lois may just start pushing the dirt on him!

I like it and maybe when the revelation happens Lois will be brought down, like when Clark sent her to the dump on a wild goose chase. She'll forgive him.

LOL! That was great! Boy, Clark really is a jerk. Can't wait to see how Lois reacts if/when she finds out.

Hi, Great part.
Maria D. Ferdez. --- Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age. MAF

There was only one way to stop Lois swooning over Superman. Superman would have to be a jerk. Oh no! CLARK! He kicked himself again. Hmm. I'm anxious to see will get CK back in the end. Great stuff - as always!
I've converted to lurk-ism... hopefully only temporary.

I dare say that we have now met Lord Kal from Leela's "Long Strange Trip" - or perhaps a slightly watered down version of him.

This is hilarious! I think I have to agree with Yvonne about the favorite line, too. I am wondering how on earth he managed to stay “in character” for this – especially when he kissed her. And like the others, I’m wondering how he’s going to explain himself to Lois… and in only one more part! ~Toc

I loved it ! Really original idea. So funny, too. I laughed the whole time at the Superman's attitude towards Lois.
I would like to read yet the next part. How Lois will explain to Superman that she's not interested by him anymore, and how Superman will react to that and stay in "jerk-mode" at the same time ?
I hope for Clark that will work, and that she will notice him. Though it will be funny if she still doesn't. But, like the others, I think he will have a hard time when he will tell her his secret, but I don't know if you can go so far with just one more post.

This Superman is mindful of the Silver-age version from the Lois Lane comic books. The one who used to pull elaborately cruel jokes on Lois for her own good, to teach her a lesson.
Such as the one where Clark and his good buddy Bruce Wayne in an effort to discourage Lois' attentions allow her to 'discover' that Bruce Wayne is actually Superman. Bruce romances her, and Lois, thinking he's Superman, is enthusiastically in to it. So much so that she accepts his marriage proposal (it took about a week).
Then when everyone is gathered at the church and the vows are about to take place, Superman flys in to join the porceedings. Lois, seeing Superman there, realizes that Bruce is not Superman is forced to call off the wedding, humiliating herself in front of friends and family.
Afterward Clark and Bruce have a good laugh at Lois' expense.
It was one of the most disfunctional relationships in all of fiction, yet you still got the impression that they were meant to be together.

What a shock to Lois!! I'd love seeing her face! Looking forward to know how (and *if*) is Clark going to get off cheaply... Andreia

Bad decor and no room service. No wonder Lois was upset.

Did you post this to lure TJ back?
(j/k of course)
Entertaining, but i have to wonder: Why hasn't "He's under the influence of something" occurred to her?
His behavior is SO TOTALLY beyond what it's been up until now, I would think she would be a tiny bit suspicious of it.
