I'm told this is the best place to post a suggestion. If you're looking for a new project, let me propose--- Smallville Style to Taylor Swift's "Teardrops on my Guitar". Smallville Style's Lana was based on Jane Sibbett. I thought that was who played Lana, but after watching again it isn't. Still, that's who I always thought of. Jane Sibbett was Ross' ex-wife on "Friends", also was in "Au Pair" http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0796235/ Anyway, just a thought I had listening to the song. It is way beyond my ability to make a music video/trailer, but I enjoy watching them. Sometimes I cannot figure out which episdoe a clip comes from and that makes it really neat. You guys are really talented! Two thumbs up Teardrops On My Guitar lyrics as sung by Taylor Swift Drew (Clark) looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see That I want and I'm needing everything that we should be I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about And she's got everything that I have to live without Drew talks to me, I laugh cause it's so damn funny That I can't even see anyone when he's with me He says he's so in love, he's finally got it right, I wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night [Chorus:] He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do Drew walks by me, can he tell that I can't breathe? And there he goes, so perfectly, The kind of flawless I wish I could be She'd better hold him tight, give him all her love Look in those beautiful eyes and know she's lucky cause [Repeat Chorus] So I drive home alone, as I turn out the light I'll put his picture down and maybe Get some sleep tonight He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar The only one who's got enough of me to break my heart He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do He's the time taken up, but there's never enough And he's all that I need to fall into.. Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see.
thanks!

Just thought I'd add in my two cents that I think the song "Let Love In" by the Goo Goo Dolls would make for an excellent Lois and Clark video. It really fits them both I believe... let me see if I can go hunt down some lyrics. You wait, wanting this world To let you in And you stand there A frozen light In dark and empty streets and You smile hiding behind A God-given face But I know you're so much more Everything they ignore Is all I need to see You're the only one I ever believed in The answer that could never be found The moment you decided to let love in Now I'm banging on the door of an angel The end of fear is where we begin The moment we decided to let love in I wish Wishing for you to find your way And I'll hold on for all you need That's all we need to say I'll take my chances while You take your time with This game you play But I can't control your soul You need to let me know You leaving or you gonna stay You're the only one I ever believed in The answer that could never be found The moment you decided to let love in Now I'm banging on the door of an angel The end of fear is where we begin The moment we decided to let love in There's nothing we can do about The things we have to do without The only way to feel again Is let love in There's nothing we can do about The things we have to live without The only way to see again Is let love in You're the only one I ever believed in The answer that could never be found The moment you decided to let love in Now I'm banging on the door of an angel The end of fear is where we begin The moment we decided to let love in Just a thought.

I'm not sure if this has been done before...
How about Five for Fighting's "Superman"?
"I can’t stand to fly I’m not that naive I’m just out to find The better part of me
I’m more than a bird...i’m more than a plane More than some pretty face beside a train It’s not easy to be me
Wish that I could cry Fall upon my knees Find a way to lie About a home I’ll never see
It may sound absurd...but don’t be naive Even heroes have the right to bleed I may be disturbed...but won’t you concede Even heroes have the right to dream It’s not easy to be me
Up, up and away...away from me It’s all right...you can all sleep sound tonight I’m not crazy...or anything...
I can’t stand to fly I’m not that naive Men weren’t meant to ride With clouds between their knees
I’m only a man in a silly red sheet Digging for kryptonite on this one way street Only a man in a funny red sheet Looking for special things inside of me Inside of me Inside me Yeah, inside me Inside of me
I’m only a man In a funny red sheet I’m only a man Looking for a dream
I’m only a man In a funny red sheet And it’s not easy, hmmm, hmmm, hmmm...
Its not easy to be me"

Ooooh this was actually the first song I vidded for LnC! If you're interested, here is the original post for it... And I think there's also one in FoLC Videos, but I could be wrong...
Mmm cheese.
I vid, therefor I am.
The hardest lesson is that love can be so fair to some, and so cruel to others. Even those who would be gods.

How about Learning To Fly by Pink Floyd? Or a vid to La Vida Loca, maybe featuring either Cat Grant and/or Miranda! "She's into Superstition, black cats and voodoo dolls..." CHALLENGE: I dare anybody to make a decent music video to *any song* from Little Orphan Annie.

Voodoo Child by Rogue Traders (the tune that was played towards the end of the penultimate episode of Dr. Who S3) might be a fun one for a vid based on the magical / mystical side of the show: Full music video As used in Doctor Who Oh, and "Another One Bites the Dust" for e.g. That Old Gang Of Mine, and Who Wants To Live Forever for the episode in which Lois and Clark worry about their lifespans (forget the title) Another One Bites the Dust - Queen Who Wants To Live Forever - Queen

ok so since I have no clue on how to make a LNC music video I thought I'd throw this idea out to you all gifted video makers lol. but I heard a song by Mark Knopfler & Emmylou Harris called 'this is us' and I was wondering if anyone would like to make an LnC vid using that song here are the lyrics:
This is us down at the Mardi Gras
This is us In your Daddy's Car
You and the missing link
Yeah, I'd had a little too much to drink, now
Too long in the sun
Having too much fun
You and me and our memories
This is us
Rocking at the barbecue
Yeah, when we said I do
Hand jiving on the Ballroom floor
You in that wedding coat you wore
And you in that amazing dress
I was stoned on love I guess
You and me we were meant to be
This is us
This is us on our Honeymoon
In our hotel room
Sitting by the wishing well
Checking out of the love motel
Making plans for the sunshine state
Waiting at the terminal gate
You and me making history
This is us
And our baby boy
With our pride and joy
You at the Sunday Game
Standing next to What's hisname?
On our Anniversary
With the family
You and me and our memories This is us
Hope some one takes it on! Lisa
Misha: I'm not a crackpot!
Martha: No dear, trust me, you are.

I was thinking, with all the bad father/daughter or father/son relationships in the show (Lois&dad, Jimmy&dad, Perry&son, Lex&son), maybe Emotionless from Good Charlotte: Hey dad Im writing to you Not to tell you, that I still hate you Just to ask you how you feel And how we fell apart how this fell apart Are you happy out there in this great wide world? Do you think about your sons? Do you miss your little girl? When you lay your head down how do you sleep at night? Do you even wonder if were all right? Were alright Were alright Its been a long hard road without you by my side Why werent you there all the nights that we cried? You broke my mothers heart, you broke your children for life Its not ok but were alright I remember the days you were a hero in my eyes But those were just a long lost memory of mine I spent so many years learning how to survive Now Im writing just to let you know that Im still alive The days I spent so cold, so hungry, were full of hate I was so angry, the scars run deep inside this tattooed body Theres things Ill take to my grave, but Im ok, Im ok Its been a long hard road without you by my side Why werent you there all the nights that we cried? You broke my mothers heart, you broke your children for life Its not ok but were alright I remember the days you were a hero in my eyes But those were just a long lost memory of mine I spent so many years learning how to survive Now Im writing just to let you know that Im still alive And sometimes I forgive, yeah and this time Ill admit That I miss you, said I miss you Its been a long hard road without you by my side Why werent you there all the nights that we cried? You broke my mothers heart, you broke your children for life Its not ok but were alright I remember the days you were a hero in my eyes But those were just a long lost memory of mine I spent so many years learning how to survive Now Im writing just to let you know that Im still alive And sometimes I forgive, yeah and this time Ill admit That I miss you, said I miss you...hey dad I just love the lyrics to this song, they're really well written

Oooooh I came past You'll be in my heart from Phil Collins, and it just sort of came to me that this would be a perfect LnC song;
Come stop your crying, it will be all right Just take my hand, hold it tight I will protect you from all around you I will be here dont you cry
For one so small, you seem so strong My arms will hold you keep you safe and warm This bond between us cant be broken I will be here dont you cry
And youll be in my heart Yes, youll be in my heart From this day on Now and forever more Youll be in my heart No matter what they say Youll be here in my heart Always
Why cant they understand the way we feel They just dont trust what they cant explain I know were different but deep inside us Were not that different at all
And youll be in my heart Yes, youll be in my heart From this day on Now and forever more Youll be in my heart No matter what they say Youll be here in my heart Always
Dont listen to them, cause what do they know We need each other, to have and to hold Theyll see in time, I know
When destiny calls you, you must be strong I may not be with you, but you gotta hold on Theyll see in time, I know
Well show them together cuz...
Youll be in my heart I believe, youll be in my heart Ill be there from this day on Now and forever more
Youll be in my heart No matter what they say Youll be here in my heart always
Always... Ill be with you Ill be there for you always Always and always Just look over your shoulder Just look over your shoulder Just look over your shoulder Ill be there always
I love the smell of fear in the newsroom.

Ok so I know I keep posting songs here, but it's just that I want to give a few songs for inspirationless vidders (hopefully, this will mean more vids!). So i'm not really requesting, i'm just giving a few suggestions. This time, it's Burn by Van Velzen. Probably most of you don't know the song, you can listen to it here . You Struck a match inside This frozen heart of mine You set my world on fire Stranded dazed and confused Stumbling drunk on you Consumed by my own desire Tell me how Tell me how you Burn right through me You undo me, yeah But what a way to go Oh you twist and turn me Ignite and stir me yeah You know I gotta learn how you burn How you burn Lost in a stadium full of frowns Til your smile turned it all around Now the mention of your name Fans the flame, the flame that burns Rigt through me You undo me, yeah What a way to go Oh you twist and turn me Ignite and stir me yeah You know I gotta learn how you burn How you burn, ohh I wanna just to know you Even just to come close But everytime we touch That thought goes up in smoke Cause you burn, cause you burn What a way to go Oh you twist and turn me Ignite and stir me yeah You know I gotta learn How burn right through me You undo me, yeah What a way to go Oh you twist and turn me Ignite and stir me yeah You know I gotta learn how you burn How you burn, how you burn
I love the smell of fear in the newsroom.

Oh man, do you think someone could do a Jimmy Olsen video to "I'm So Much Cooler Online" by Brad Paisley? That would ten different kinds of hilarious.

I love that song!!! I actually own a t-shirt that says "I'm cooler online." - ask Sue, she's seen it. *lol* Ya know, I think I'm going to run upstairs and work on that right now. Hehehe! ...I'm thinking of someone else for this song, though - instead of Jimmy. Maybe I'll do two versions. *lol*

I'm wondering if anyone's done a vid to Lee Ann Womack's country ballad, I Hope You Dance. It strikes me it could be a really WAFFy celebration of Lois - who never settles for the path, fears the mountains etc... Lyrics: I Hope You Dance Lee Ann Womack
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder You get your fill to eat, but always keep that hunger May you never take one single breath for granted God forbid, love ever leave you empty handed I hope you still feel small, when you stand beside the ocean Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance I hope you dance
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance Never settle for the path of least resistance Living might mean taking chances, but they're worth taking Lovin' might be a mistake, but it's worth making Don't let some hell bent heart, leave you bitter When you come close to selling out Reconsider Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance (Time is a real and constant motion always) I hope you dance (Rolling us along) I hope you dance (Tell me who) I hope you dance (Wants to look back on their youth and wonder) I hope you dance (Where those years have gone)
I hope you still feel small when you stand by the ocean Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
Dance
I hope you dance I hope you dance (Time is a real and constant motion always) I hope you dance (Rolling us along) I hope you dance (Tell me who) (Wants to look back on their youth and wonder) I hope you dance (Where those years have gone)
(Tell me who) I hope you dance (Wants to look back on their youth and wonder) (Where those years have gone)

Another one (yes, I've been having a nostalgia trip through my music files...): I've always thought some fun could be had with Fine Young Cannibals' She Drives Me Crazy. It has such a great beat. The lyrics are a little repetitive, but then you have a LOT of clips of Lois driving Clark crazy to choose from. LabRat

So much Pavarotti out there to-day. I would love to see a video of Clark Kent/Superman set to a background of Nessun Dorma. I can see the scenes:)

Here could be a fun one.
I was listening to some of my old mp3s and I came across Wang Chung's "Everybody of Fun Tonight".
I think it would be fun to see all the different dance/party clips that could be put into this song.

Another Side Of You by Joe Nichols
Obviously you can't have Lois rushing around with the kids, but there should be plenty scenes of her rushing off to do something. This song always makes me think of the way Clark loves Lois. You might even be able to "borrow" some scenes from the music video (if that's legal?).
thanks!

Hi guys! I was working yesterday, and a CD we had on the playlist was playing the song 'To Make You Feel My Love'. It struck me as I was singing along how perfect this song would be when Clark is wanting Lois to feel the same way about him as he does about her. Unfortunately, I don't think I have time to make a video for this song myself, but I would love to see one. So please...someone make one! I can even send the person an mp3 or wma file of the Garth Brooks version of the song if need be. Some lyrics: When the rain is blowing in your face And the whole world is on your case I would offer you a warm embrace To make you feel my love When the evening shadows and the stars appear And there is no one to dry your tears I could hold you for a million years To make you feel my love I know you haven't made your mind up yet But I would never do you wrong I've known it from the moment that we met No doubt in my mind where you belong I'd go hungry, I'd go blind for you I'd go crawling down the avenue There ain't nothing that I wouldn't do To make you feel my love The storms are raging on a rolling sea Down the highway of regret The winds of change are blowing wild and free But you ain't seen nothing like me yet There ain't nothing that I wouldn't do Go to the ends of the earth for you Make you happy, make your dreams come true To make you feel my love ~Anna.
Lois: Jimmy, give me back my dress. Clark: Now there's something you don't hear around the newsroom everyday.
