Ahhh... very nice. smile Loved that he showed up without his glasses <g> And the reminders back to their truth-or-dare moment were sweet.

Actually, it's better than I'm making it sound but apparently I'm superlative-impaired right now goofy

You have no idea how heroic you are. You Clark, not Superman! You saved me in a way that he never could.
Yes! FINALLY!!! laugh

This was a great ending to a great story. I hope to see more from you! smile

That was so sweet! Sniff...sniff. And I like Clark showing up with no more secrets...without his glasses.

Well done! hail

He had changed from his usual suit, into a simple black sweater and jeans. His dark hair fell softly on his forehead, and he wasn’t wearing his glasses. The gesture was not lost on Lois. There were no secrets between them now.
I love this! smile1 Total honesty from Clark: no more secrets. Thanks for this fic...it was really good! I hope to read more of your stories in the future. thumbsup Susan

Great job on this story!

I was drawn in immediately with the first two parts, wanting to know what would happen next. Then I read part three, and was hit by the strongest sense of deja vu I think I've ever had. I had read this story on another board, where you posted it last year, right?

I remembered how much I liked it, and I'm afraid that from part 3, I cheated. Yes. I went to the other board and just devoured the whole thing in one reading frenzy.

Yup, I liked it just as much this time, too. I agree with Wendy that the grammar needs a bit of tweaking, but hey, that's what we GEs are for. (You are going to submit this to the archives, right? Or else?)

Other than that, I like it as it is. It's gripping, powerful, touching. I, too, liked the 'unvarnished' Clark at the end. And I liked Lois's line about not promising to never make her cry. That's good - she understands it won't be happily ever after every minute of their lives, and isn't worried about that.

Nice job! Thanks for posting it here. It isn't on the archives (hint, hint) so if you hadn't posted it here I may not have ever had the pleasure of reading it again.
