love it! Even made me feel a bit homesick, and that's praise indeed, because I usually hate reading conversation written with a heavy accent. Here, though, you've chosen just the right balance between accent and non-accent words so that it remains readable. Of course, I might be a tad biased, since I hail frae' the same land as you <g>.
Anyway, I like Mac and his jeep, Genevieve (any connection with the Kenneth Moore film of the same name?
). I'm glad Clark seems to be surviving and now gradually drawing a little closer towards his own kind - at last, there's a glimmer of hope that he might find his way back home.
