First time I've ever tried to peek inside Cat Grant's mind - usually the song challenges have me all up in Lex Luthor's head!

Oh wow, I love this! Absolutely excellent peek into Cat's life and history, and I love how the attempted shaming completely backfired! This fic is totally my head-cannon, now.

I never really thought much about Cat Grant. You've done an excellent job creating a viable backstory. Great work!

Thank you, Joan! I've also never really thought much about Cat. But when the song played in my car, my muse was like "we're not doing Lois, I wanna do Cat this time." I was just pulled along for the ride.

I like this. Totally believable. And I loved Cat's thoughts about the different standards when it comes to male and female sexuality. While I read this, I couldn't stop thinking how TOC would have loved this peek into Cat's past. I do, too. Well done, Deadly Chakram

Absolutely love it, added to my list of favourite Cat Grand stories. Nice misdirect at the beginning, at first I thought this was about "Mad Dog Lane".

Really nice and fitting backstory for Cat, she had a lot of missed potential. This story also nicely complements my other favourite Cat Grand story "In Cats Corner" by Irine Dutch, where we get to see Cat's vulnerable side.

I can totally see this Cat becoming friends with Lois in the later season's. Their friendship and respect would be expressed trough a lot of teasing and ribbing, with occasional soft moments. Just imagine being the bad guy faced with these two playing, "Good Cop, Bad Cop" you would not know up from down any more.

Thanks for making Cat a more interesting character.

I too wish Cat had come back in a later season, even if only for a cameo or two. Feels like some missed potential there.
