'Cause the last 2 chapters have indeed made up for that momentary melancholy inflicted upon us with that goodbye in chapter 17! But leaving us here is about more than we can stand……. Quote He was here………He smiled at her – a tentative, nervous smile – as if he wasn’t sure his unexpected appearance would be welcome. And she remembered that he had been sending his letters on faith, with no indication of her response to them. She had just been thinking of him, longing for him. And now he was here. He was really here. “Oh my god,” she whispered………..Every cell in her body was focused on him. She stood, still sluggish with shock, and he shrugged as if to say he couldn’t believe he was there either. He didn’t approach, just waited for her, and she realized suddenly he was still waiting for her answer. And then she started to run. Where is that next chapter to this incredible story?
