So, I guess that the stars aligned (see what I did there?  ) for me to write L&C fic again! LOL! And woohoo!!! “It’s like they’re not even trying anymore.”
Clark’s head snapped up as Lois leaned into his line of vision, newspaper in hand. “Who?” The opening is just…stellar!  But really, it’s great! I can just SEE and HEAR this because it’s so perfect! ... not even a real astrologist. …“You believe in astrology?” … “Of course not,” she scoffed.  This is hilarious and SOOOOO Lois! The horoscopes and both of their reactions are perfect! LOL! “How can you be a fake charlatan? It’s ridiculous.” OMG! Only Lois!! This line is GOLD! Haha! Chumpy! Yay!!! Thanks, Anna, for letting your muse play with L&C for a bit!  Sara

Hi Anna! I saw the discussion on Discord… “They got this new girl for the horoscopes. She’s not even a real astrologist. Cat said she’s a sociology major.” Am wondering if it's Star. “Well. ‘Pisces: Your biggest secret causes trouble in your personal life. It’s time to open up.’” She threw him a disbelieving look. “You don’t even have any secrets.” And here’s mine,” she went on, undeterred. “‘Libra: Someone’s feelings for you run deeper than you realize. Pay closer attention to your inner circle.’ You’d think I have a secret admirer or something.”  He denies me a raise and then goes on to give a whole salary to some charlatan. Did you catch the raise thing from the early season one episodes? Because…yeah that’s in there! “Going to have a talk with her. Tell her to write longer pieces.” Waits for the charlatan to look at Clark and say: “You don’t want me to write longer pieces about you." Also, is it Perry? Another great detail! Marvelous work! Thank you all for your kind words on this ficlet! It was a really random, too-early-in-the-morning inspiration!  @Queen: I like those missed opportunities the best, tbh. @Sara: You quoted some of my favourite lines! My absolute favourite has to be the fake charlatan one, though. @Michael: She's not supposed to be Star (was she a sociology major too?). The raise mention was absolutely a callback though, it fit in great! Haha imagine if it were Perry! Again, thanks for reading and commenting, you all are so sweet!

Haha imagine if it were Perry! Which, incidentally came from a) Perry as Madam Zelda in Whine Whine Whine and the horoscope being in the Planet.
