Yes, poor Clark… as I said, I thought it was necessary to bring him to the point where I needed him for the sake of the story. It is hard to see him suffer so much. He often takes responsibility for things he has no influence over, this is why it is so important for him to talk to Lois or his parents, to give him some perspective. Clark did the same for Lois when she was Ultra Woman.
